These Ironman triathletes are CRAZY! Swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 miles, and then running 26.2 miles all in one day is nothing short of amazing! I flew back to Wisconsin to document this special day for my friend Josh. This was his first Ironman and he was fabulous! His family and I were out cheering...
A family member of mine, Monte Merrick, received a full ride scholarship to Western Kentucky University to play football as the kicker for the team. Before the official start of the season WKU had a family day including a scrimmage at the end. I’m glad I brought my camera along… GO #11!
This awesome guy was learning how to ride his bike! He had a lot of hesitation, but with Dad’s help and the support from his family he was on his way in no time!
Spent time in the West Virginia mountains for the holiday weekend and set off our own fireworks! We ate wonderful food, had target practice, and simply enjoyed each others company. Thankfully no one was hurt and everyone enjoyed the evening’s show…

A friend and I went out for lemonade one night and when he was driving me home is was POURING rain! My house was a mess but there was no way he was going to drive home until it calmed down. It was really late but I showed him my collection of antique flower pins/earrings...

Got to go visit Gettysburg. History is not my ‘thang’ but it is always interesting to see the sights.
My brother, Thomas (Toby) and I got a great tour of the graveyards from one of the best around! We even climbed an old Cyprus tree until we got busted by the park ranger!

Throwing rocks in the stream or running in every which direction was WAY cooler than smiling for me. Duh.
I hung out with a family for a few hours and captured every day moments for them. So much fun to see!
We did everything from play outside, ride bikes, dye easter eggs, and just plain old hanging out…
