I am a life and events photographer in the Washington D.C. metro area.
My joy is to capture beautiful moments with my lens that may have otherwise been missed...sisters whispering in the corner, tears from the mother of the bride, tiny fingers picking a flower, and the true sweet smile of a proud daddy as he watches his new baby girl sleep.
Consider my camera to simply be a fly on the wall as you live life. These are the moments to remember and worth saving.
With a degree from University of Wisconsin, Madison (Go Badgers!) and years of work in the art field, I understand the value of composition, form, technique, and often times thinking outside the box.
In my world of all things art, my first love is portraits and events photography. I am available for any single, couple, children or family portraits. I would also love to capture special events including birthdays, showers, parties, holidays, and just about anything else you can think of!
The formal education is under my belt, the camera is in my hands and your life is to be lived. Please take a look around and know that I would be honored to be your fly.
Got to go visit Gettysburg. History is not my ‘thang’ but it is always interesting to see the sights.
My brother, Thomas (Toby) and I got a great tour of the graveyards from one of the best around! We even climbed an old Cyprus tree until we got busted by the park ranger!

I made him do this…I thought it would be funny, and sure enough it is!! (to me any way!)
I had the opportunity to shoots some photos of three very beautiful children! Uh…they were definitely more interested in other things!
Throwing rocks in the stream or running in every which direction was WAY cooler than smiling for me. Duh.
I hung out with a family for a few hours and captured every day moments for them. So much fun to see!
We did everything from play outside, ride bikes, dye easter eggs, and just plain old hanging out…
